ACT Office Staff

The Australian College of Theology is a national consortium of 20 Bible and theological colleges which deliver the awards of the College on its behalf. There are six permanent staff members are employed in the office. Academic governance is vested in the Board of Directors of the Australian College of Theology Ltd. The Dean and his staff, in association with the Board of Directors, manage the day-to-day operation of the College office.

Mark Harding, Dean
The Rev Dr Mark Harding is the Dean and Chief Executive Officer of the College. His role is to oversee the administration of our awards and to guide the day to day running of the College. He has a PhD in New Testament from Princeton Theological Seminary. Mark is married to Sue and they have four children - David, Philip, Mary-Ann, and Jane.

Anne Bates, Academic Administrator

Anne’s main tasks include maintaining the student information system and preparing reports for the Directors, Commonwealth Government, and affiliated colleges.  She is also the project manager for the Graduate Careers Australia survey of ACT graduates and secretary of the ACT Ethics Committee. She liaises closely with registrars of affiliated colleges, takes minutes for academic boards and committees, and ensures the ACT complies with government reporting requirements. She attends meetings convened by DEEWR and DIMA.  She is a self-confessed chocoholic.

Diana Tadjudin, Office Administrator

Diana’s main tasks include organising the day to day running of the office including stationery supplies and building maintenance, create and format the annual college handbooks and bi-annual college newsletter including organising, printing and distribution, and assisting the Academic Administrator. Diana enjoys spending time playing badminton and going to yoga class.

Elizabeth Kohn, Postgraduate Student Administrator

Elizabeth's responsibilities include maintaining the student information system, assisting with the collation of data from the Graduate Careers Australia surveys, dealing with student enquiries, organising examiners for theses, maintaining student records for postgraduate candidates, and assisting with correspondence arising out of academic boards and committee meetings as well as the Board of Directors. She has two daughters and enjoys bushwalking, going to the gym, spending time with family, books, and blues, jazz, and classical music.

Nilanthy Christy, Finance Officer

Nilanthy started work as the Finance Officer in December 2007. Her main tasks include handling routine financial matters and other matters as directed by the Dean or by a nominated member of the Finance Committee. In her spare time Nilanthy enjoys playing violin, reading Christian books and business related magazines.

Ken Wade, Quality Manager

In respect of academic and student administration in the ACT, Ken assists the Dean of the ACT to apply and improve the ACT’s quality management system and to comply with the quality assurance reporting requirements of the State and Territory Accreditation Agencies.  Ken has a BSc from UNSW, a GradDipEd and a PhD in psychology from U of Sydney and a Master of Educational Administration from UNE which focused on administration in higher education.  Ken has taught in a high school, and lectured, researched and administered at a senior level in tertiary institutions.  Ken is married to Sue and have four adult children, and to date two grandchildren.  Ken and Sue enjoy country life in Berry as much as possible.


The Board of Directors

The College is governed by the Board of Directors. The Board is the governing body of the College, and exercises day-to-day management and academic oversight of its academic enterprise. The Board is the final arbiter in matters concerning the eligibility of candidates, approval of new and review of existing courses, and the examination procedures and results. The current members of the Board are:
